The following Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and any services provided by Maja Carstens Photography. By accessing this website or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of this website.
Editing is a detailed and time-intensive process. Final edited images may take up to three (3) weeks or longer to be delivered, depending on workload and season.
Clients are kindly requested to be patient during this process. Quality is prioritized to ensure the best possible final result.
Final edited images are delivered digitally via a private Google Drive link. No physical media is provided unless arranged separately.
For storage and security reasons, the delivery link remains active for a period of five (5) months from the date of delivery. After this period, access permissions are removed and the images will no longer be available for download.
Clients are strongly encouraged to download and create their own backups of all images promptly upon receipt.
Should you be unable to download your images within the active period, or should you lose your images due to unforeseen circumstances, you are welcome to contact Maja Carstens Photography. Where possible, access will be restored as a courtesy, subject to the images still being available in storage.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date and time.
Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received.
Deposits are strictly non-refundable, including in the case of cancellations.
Clients are allowed a maximum of two (2) reschedules per booking.
Rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours in advance to allow accommodation of other clients.
If:
the deposit will be forfeited and a new booking and quotation will be required.
Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled session.
A grace period of 15 minutes will be allowed. After 15 minutes:
If a client is more than 30 minutes late without prior communication, the session may be considered cancelled, and the deposit will be forfeited.
Maja Carstens Photography will not be held responsible for lost shooting time due to late arrival.
Outdoor shoots are subject to weather conditions. Swakopmund weather can be unpredictable, including strong winds, fog, sandstorms, or rain.

All photographs taken during a session are the intellectual property of Maja Carstens Photography and are protected under copyright law.
Clients receive a personal-use licence upon delivery. Images may not be used commercially without prior written consent.
Maja Carstens Photography retains the right to use images for portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Personal information collected through this website (such as names, email addresses, and phone numbers) will only be used for the purposes of responding to inquiries and managing bookings.
Your information will never be shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
Maja Carstens Photography reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the client's responsibility to review these terms regularly.
